About Campus Danubia

Tag cloud Campus Danubia

Whether students are interested in church work or already involved in church leadership or other Christian work, Campus Danubia wants to invest in and support the next generation. The students are learning to value others, and to meet their needs in a reflective way that is rooted in biblical theology.

We are also looking forward to cooperating with other christian institutes through student and faculty exchange, as well as through joint research projects.

Why now?

In the past 40 to 50 years, numerous free churches have been planted in Austria. This is mainly thanks to missionaries from other countries—among them the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia and Great Britain. There are now several hundred churches, but more than 50 percent of these free churches are more or less dependent on missionaries for qualified pastoral work. At the same time, there is a generational change taking place in many churches. In addition, because of the growth of the churches, a professionalisation of their staff is urgently needed.
